Dateline: 8/4/05
     Aloha! I'm in Hawaii! I know it's hard to believe, but after three days in Palm Springs, scouting locations and watching endless lines of people hoping for a part in D.W.'s new western epic, it was decided to take a detour and rest for a while in Hawaii and Maui! Who am I to say no to an offer like that??! We've been here for several days, and have been treated like royalty. D.W. sent a jet for a number of the cast from "Gronk" and some were able to get away for a few days to enjoy the Islands. Mordan and Gilber had so much fun splashing in the ocean and snorkeling. Quinton came also and tried his hand at hula dancing, although, I must admit, he failed miserably. Darius was also there expounding to anyone who would listen his thoughts about "method acting"
(what a boring topic!). A number of the cast and crew also showed up so we had a fine reunion. We're slated to go home tomorrow, so in my next column I'll give you some updates on the progress of the editing of "Gronk, the Blade". Until then, it's K.P. here!
