Greetings all you Gronkophiles! In my last column I hinted at a startling new development in the choice of composer for the epic score to "Gronk, the Blade". Rumors had been circulating for months that a well known Hollywood composer was slated for the task of creating a musical tapestry that would charm the socks off the discriminating public fortunate enough to view this upcoming epic. Unfortunately, that original choice of composer became unavailable due to schedules and so, the search was on for a replacement. I can now report to you that a new composer has been found. And that composer is D.W. himself!! That's right! You heard it here first! D.W., the director, has been pressured into becoming the composer for his own film! This astounding turn of events was accomplished by the "suits" at Sword and Sandal Film Productions who decided that the best choice for composer would be the one who knew the film best, the director! Word quickly spread and the phone was ringing off the hook! Already, it is said, that a space on the mantle over the fireplace at Sword and Sandal Film Productions, is being reserved for that most prestigious award that we all can see being awarded for this score. Talk about history making! I'm on my way to see D.W. right now, so I'll report back to you soon! K.P.
